Job Description
As a Senior CT and MRI Radiographer with Direct Imaging Limited, you will be responsible for delivering mobile imaging services across the UK, ensuring operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and adherence to the highest clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Imaging Operations:
Perform high-quality CT and MRI scans in our mobile units, adhering to imaging protocols.
Optimise imaging parameters to deliver accurate diagnostic images while prioritising patient safety.
Patient Care:
Prepare and position patients in a mobile setting, ensuring their comfort and addressing concerns.
Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, maintaining a professional and reassuring demeanor.
Equipment & Technical Oversight:
Operate and maintain advanced mobile CT and MRI systems, troubleshooting issues as needed.
Work closely with radiologists to review and assess image quality.
Team Leadership:
Act as a mentor to junior Radiographers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Lead by example in upholding Direct Imaging Limited’s commitment to quality and patient care.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with UK regulations, including IR(ME)R and other radiation safety standards.
Follow health and safety protocols specific to mobile imaging environments.
Requirements
Qualifications:
HCPC-registered Radiographer with advanced skills in CT and MRI imaging.
Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent certification in CT and MRI imaging are desirable.
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in CT and MRI imaging, ideally with exposure to mobile imaging environments and cardiac imaging.
Experience in a leadership or senior technologist role is advantageous.
Skills:
Proficiency in operating modern CT and MRI systems.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a patient-first mindset.
Adaptability and organizational skills, essential for mobile service delivery.
